Jedidiah Coppenger, a Regular Contributor to For The Church, is the Lead Pastor of Redemption City Church in Franklin, Tennessee. Before planting Redemption City Church, he edited and contributed to Retreat or Risk: A Call for a Great Commission Resurgence and contributed to Theology and Practice of Mission: God, the Church, and the Nations. He also co-founded Baptist21, has a M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Melanie and they have three children, Josiah, Susannah and Judah.
