Charles Smith serves as Senior Vice President for Institutional Relations at Midwestern Seminary and oversees the offices of Admissions, Institutional Advancement, Alumni, Communications, Student Life and Events, and Center for Church Planting and Partnering. He earned a Business Administration degree from Mississippi College in 2007, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011, and a Ph.D. in Christian Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 20202.
Jason K. Allen is the President of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to his seminary duties, Allen has served as pastor and interim pastor of several Southern Baptist churches. Dr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, as well as M.Div. and Ph.D. degrees from Southern Seminary. Currently, in addition to his responsibilities as president of Midwestern Seminary, he serves the church more broadly through writing and preaching ministries.
Matt Perman is former director of strategy at Desiring God and the author of What’s Best Next: How the Gospel Transforms the Way You Get Things Done . He has an M.Div. in biblical and theological studies from Southern Seminary and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
